What we collect
If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and the language you chose on the site. That is all.
Why
Only to send you the Tokyo Watch Index report and occasional announcements about the site. We will never sell, rent or share your email address with anyone else.
Who handles it
Our mailing list is hosted by Buttondown, which stores your address and sends the emails on our behalf. Buttondown may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we can see which reports are useful.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of visit) for security.

- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the list.
