Tokyo · Grey market · Updated daily

Japan’s grey-market Rolex & Grand Seiko, measured daily.

Asking prices from several Tokyo grey-market dealers, collected every night and summarised as medians. No dealer names, no single listings — just where the market sits.

We record asking prices, not sale prices. Same reference, same night, same method — so they can be compared. What you actually pay varies with negotiation, condition and box & papers.

Data as of 2026-11-03 · 3,485 watches on sale across 5 Tokyo dealers · 288 references · 20,242 price observations recorded so far

Many Tokyo dealers sell new watches through one page per reference, so the unworn / new median uses those listed new prices: each page (one per reference and dial or bracelet variant) counts once, and pages are not included in “On sale”. A “—” under unworn / new means fewer than two dealers list that reference new right now. Choose a currency to compare the unworn / new median with that country’s official new retail price (converted at the day’s rate; each market’s own tax treatment, US excludes sales tax). Popular models are often unavailable at retail. “—” means we have not recorded that country’s retail price yet. Week-on-week change will appear after a full week of comparable data.

Medians of asking prices (tax included) on the data date. Figures with fewer than 3 watches are hidden. “vs Japan retail” compares the unworn median with the Japanese retail price as of Jun 2026; retail prices change, so check the current list price. Asking prices are not sale prices. “Indicative” marks references currently stocked by only two dealers. References stocked by fewer are hidden. Grand Seiko coverage is still thin. Two dealers with larger Grand Seiko stock join from November 2026, so more references will appear here.

Tax-free: visitors from overseas may reclaim Japan’s 10% consumption tax. Refund terms and fees vary by dealer, so the table shows tax-included prices. Rough guide: a full refund takes off 1/11 (about 9.1%) — e.g. the unworn median of SBGW305 Elegance Collection, ¥748,000, becomes about ¥680,000 before the refund fee.
